Chantemerie is more modern and mainly consists of hotels and resorts, as well as featuring a shopping complex, restaurant and bars. Villeneuve is the biggest of the villages and also has some of the same commercial centers. La Salle-les-Alps is more rustic and is prominent for their stone buildings; they even have a museum and a church.
